PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING THE VERITASK PLATFORM. BY CONTINUING TO USE THE VERITASK PLATFORM AND OUR SERVICES, YOU ARE DEEMED TO HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AGREED TO, AND BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

These Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") constitute an agreement between the User ("You") and PT VERITAS INTELEGENSIA TEKNOLOGI ("We," "Us," or "Our"), a limited liability company duly established and legally operating under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia and domiciled in Jakarta, Indonesia. These Terms govern Your access to and use of the website https://veritask.ai/ and other websites We operate, the content, and products We provide (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Platform"), as well as the ordering, payment, or use of the services available on Our Platform (the "Services").

By agreeing to these Terms, You concurrently agree to our Privacy Policy, as well as any amendments thereto, which shall constitute an integral and inseparable part of these Terms.

DEFINITIONS

Platform

The digital service operated by PT VERITAS INTELEGENSIA TEKNOLOGI, including but not limited to the Veritask and Veritask Audit websites.

Services

Includes all facilities, features, content, and functions that We provide through the Platform in accordance with the selected subscription package.

Account

The official account registered by You on the Platform to enable the use of the Services.

Authorized User

The individual(s) duly designated and registered by You to access and use the Platform, in accordance with the quota stipulated in the subscription package.

Input

All data, information, documents, or other materials uploaded or submitted by You to the Services.

Output

All results, documents, analyses, or other materials generated by the Services specifically for You based on the Input.

Uptime

The percentage of time within a given period (typically a calendar month) during which the Platform is accessible and functioning normally, excluding scheduled maintenance periods that have been announced in advance.

Downtime

The period during which the Platform is inaccessible or not functioning correctly, excluding scheduled maintenance periods that have been announced in advance.

Response Time

The time required by the Platform to respond to a user's request or query, measured from the time the request is submitted until the first response is received.

Security Breach

A security incident resulting in the unauthorized access, alteration, deletion, or disclosure of protected data within the Platform.

Concurrent Users

The maximum number of users who can access and use the Platform simultaneously at one time according to the subscription package.

USE OF THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES

Access to and use of the Platform is subject to these Terms. You have full discretion to use Our Platform or to cease using it.

The Platform and its features including access to regulatory databases, legal document templates, analytical tools, and the AI-based chatbot are technology-based facilitation services provided solely to facilitate users in carrying out their activities related to law.

All outputs, including analyses, data, or recommendations generated through the Platform, do not constitute as legal advice, legal opinion, or professional services provided by an advocate, legal consultant, or any qualified professional.

The use of the Platform does not create an attorney–client relationship between You and Us. You remain fully responsible for verifying the accuracy, relevance, and appropriateness of any information obtained through the Platform before relying on it or taking any legal or business purpose.

We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, reliability, or legal validity of any output generated by the Platform. We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from or in connection with the use of the Platform or any reliance placed upon its outputs.

YOU UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE A TECHNOLOGY COMPANY, NOT A LAW FIRM OR A PROVIDER OF LEGAL CONSULTING SERVICES, AND THAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE.

USER REQUIREMENTS

Account Information and Its Use

During the account registration process, you are required to submit all information that we request truthfully, accurately, and completely. If the information provided is found to be untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, we reserve the right to use this as grounds for terminating the service, deleting the account, and canceling these Terms and Conditions.

We have full authority to accept or reject your account registration application at our own discretion and for any reason following the verification process. We will provide a confirmation once all requirements are deemed to have been met. It should be understood that this Terms and Conditions document is an integral part of all other Veritask policies, including the Privacy Policy.

Each user must use an account under their own identity. It is strictly prohibited to create an account with the intent to impersonate another person, unlawfully represent a group, or use a false identity in any form. In the event of a violation of this provision, we reserve the right to suspend and/or delete your account in accordance with our internal policy.

YOUR ACCOUNT

Your Account may only be used by You and is not transferable to any other person. The security and confidentiality of Your Account, including your login credentials and verification codes, are entirely Your personal responsibility. All losses and risks arising from Your negligence in maintaining such security shall be borne by You.

Notify us immediately if You know or suspect that Your Account has been used without Your consent.

FEES AND CHARGES

Our Platform is accessible free of charge; however, the use of the Services is subject to subscription fees. The rates for the Services shall be as set forth in the Subscription Agreement between Us and You. We may adjust the rates from time to time upon providing prior notice to You.

YOUR REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES

You represent and warrant that You have the full legal authority, capacity, and right to bind Yourself to these Terms.

You agree to use the Platform and Services only for lawful purposes and not for any fraudulent, unlawful, or other acts that may be detrimental to any other party. You expressly release Us from any and all liabilities, consequences, or claims that may arise from Your breach of these Terms.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You are solely responsible for the decisions You make to use or not to use the Platform and Services. You are also solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of the information generated by the Services before using it for any purpose.

By using Our Services, You understand and agree that:

Output May Be Inaccurate. Artificial intelligence is a rapidly evolving field. Given the probabilistic nature of machine learning, the use of Our Services may in some situations may result in Output that does not accurately reflect real facts, people, or places. You must not rely on the Output as a sole source of truth or factual information, or as a substitute for professional advice.
You must evaluate the suitability and accuracy of the Output for Your specific use case, including by using appropriate human review, before using or sharing the Output from the Services.

PLATFORM USAGE RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITED ACTIONS

When accessing or using the Veritask Platform, you agree not to engage or facilitate others in the following prohibited activities:

1. Technical Interference and System Misuse

Using any device, software, or automated method (including bots or scrapers) to access, collect, or index the platform's content.
Performing any action that may interfere or attempt to interfere with the normal operation of the platform.
Overloading our infrastructure with excessive or unreasonable requests, which we deem to be improper use.
Transmiting or attempting to implant malicious software such as viruses, worms, or Trojans that could damage or disrupt the Platform's system.
Taking any action that could damage, disrupt, or degrade the functionality of the service features on the Platform.
Inputting any prompt, code, or instruction into the Platform intended to extract, obtain, or access Our Services or Confidential Information without proper authorization.

2. Content and Communication Misuse

Sending spam, chain letters, surveys, junk email, or other forms of mass messaging, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
Uploading, disseminating, or assisting in the distribution of content (text, images, video, or otherwise) that is misleading, untrue, contains falsehoods, violates the privacy of others, or is contrary to the law.
Disseminating content intended to disrupt other users or damage the Platform's reputation.
Disseminating information about the service that is inconsistent with Veritask's vision and mission.

3. Fraud, Impersonation, and Bad Faith

It is prohibited to impersonate another person or entity, or unlawfully attempt to obtain money, passwords, or personal information through deceptive means.
It is prohibited to use the service in bad faith.
It is prohibited to use or share data from the service as if it were your own without permission, or to unlawfully share it with other parties.
It is prohibited to act on behalf of Veritask in the dissemination of public documents (such as summaries of regulations or court decisions) in a way that could mislead or harm other parties and Veritask's reputation.
It is prohibited to engage in any other actions that, based on our assessment, are intended to defraud, manipulate the system, or obtain unauthorized financial gain.

4. Violation of Rules and Intellectual Property

Violating these Terms & Conditions, other policies established by us, or applicable law.
Copying, modifying, translating, selling, or exploiting the Platform and its content in any way without our written permission.
Using automated methods such as data mining to access or extract Veritask's intellectual property (logos, creative materials, and other Confidential Information).

Our Rights and General User Obligations

We reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to prevent unauthorized use of the platform. These actions include, but are not limited to, implementing technical blocks, terminating your access, and reporting your activities to the relevant authorities.

As a user, you are obligated to comply with all guidelines, operational rules, policies, and instructions related to the use of the platform that we establish, including any future amendments. All these rules are an inseparable part of the main Terms and Conditions.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND RIGHTS

We shall provide a Veritask Platform that is functional, stable, and accessible in accordance with the agreed-upon specifications, ensure the Platform has a reasonable Uptime and response time, and ensure that the Platform can accommodate the number of concurrent users as per Your selected subscription package. Changes, additions, or reductions to the features or functions within the Platform shall not affect the validity and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a User's account, either temporarily or permanently, at Our sole discretion.
We shall perform maintenance, updates, and upgrades to the Platform according to technical needs and feature development; temporarily suspend the services for scheduled maintenance purposes with at least twenty-four (24) hours prior notice to You; and modify or add features to the Platform to improve the quality of service.
We shall provide a legal and regulatory database that is accurate, complete, and up-to-date; perform regulatory updates at least once a week for new regulations; verify the accuracy of all legal data on the platform; and provide search and analysis features that are effective, reliable, and user-friendly.
We shall implement a multi-layered security system to protect Your data from unauthorized access; perform routine data backups at least once every twenty-four (24) hours; maintain the confidentiality of Your data and information in accordance with the provisions of the confidentiality agreement; and notify You in the event of a security breach that may affect Your data.
We shall provide customer support services during business hours (Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 WIB); as well as a comprehensive user manual, documentation, and platform usage guides; and provide initial training to Your team to ensure optimal use of the platform.

We have the full right to do the following:

To monitor, screen, and/or control any activity, content, or material on the Platform. We may conduct investigations into suspected violations of these Terms and Conditions and take any action deemed necessary and appropriate.
To report suspected violations of the law to the relevant authorities and to cooperate in any applicable law enforcement processes;
To request information and data related to the use of the services and/or access to the Platform at any time. If the User refuses to provide/disclose the requested information/data, or provides inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information, We reserve the right to immediately suspend or deactivate the User's Account;
We may update, change, or modify these Terms and Conditions and/or the Privacy Policy from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify You of such changes via the Platform, email, or other communication media. By continuing to use the service after the notification or publication of the changes, the User is deemed to have known and agreed to such changes;
We may, at Our sole discretion, enhance, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Platform's services, without the obligation to provide a reason or prior notice. We are not responsible for any impact that may arise from such actions, including if it results in the service being inaccessible to the User.

The User is responsible for periodically checking the Platform to be aware of updates to the Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy. The latest version shall be effective from the date of its publication. By continuing to use the service, the User is deemed to have agreed to and be bound by the latest version. If the User does not agree, the User is advised to cease using the service and/or close their account.

We are not responsible for any losses, misinterpretations, or legal impacts arising from the user's use of information. The information provided is on an "as is" basis, without any guarantee of completeness, accuracy, or suitability for a particular purpose.
