Keputusan Menteri Sosial ini diterbitkan dalam rangka pemenuhan hak pendidikan sebagai bagian integral dari pembangunan sumber daya manusia serta upaya pengentasan kemiskinan dan penghapusan kemiskinan ekstrem. Kebijakan ini menetapkan 93 (sembilan puluh tiga) lokasi sekolah rakyat tahap II yang tersebar di berbagai provinsi di Indonesia.

Lokasi-lokasi yang ditetapkan merupakan lokasi permanen yang dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan keberlanjutan dari sekolah rakyat rintisan tahun 2025 serta pemenuhan kriteria teknis yang telah diverifikasi oleh Direktorat Jenderal Prasarana Strategis, Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum. Penetapan lokasi ini berfungsi sebagai dasar hukum dalam penyiapan pelaksanaan operasional sekolah rakyat tahap II.

Dalam pelaksanaannya, penetapan lokasi ini dilakukan melalui koordinasi lintas sektor antara Kementerian Sosial, Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum, kementerian/lembaga terkait, serta pemerintah daerah. Segala biaya yang timbul akibat pelaksanaan keputusan ini dibebankan pada Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN) dan/atau sumber pendanaan lain yang sah sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan.

DETERMINATION OF PHASE II PEOPLE'S SCHOOL LOCATIONS

MINISTER OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering :

that the fulfillment of the right to education is an important part of human resource development and supports efforts to alleviate poverty and eradicate extreme poverty;
that to fulfill the right to education as referred to in letter a, it is necessary to determine the Phase II People's School locations;
that the locations listed in the Appendix to this Ministerial Decree have undergone location feasibility verification by the Directorate General of Strategic Infrastructure, Ministry of Public Works;
that based on the considerations as referred to in letter a, letter b, and letter c, it is necessary to establish a Ministerial Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs on the Determination of Phase II People's School Locations;
