Latar Belakang dan Tujuan

Keputusan Presiden ini dikeluarkan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja Kabinet Periode 1999-2004 dalam upaya pemulihan ekonomi nasional. Oleh karena itu, dipandang perlu untuk membubarkan Dewan Ekonomi Nasional yang sebelumnya dibentuk berdasarkan Keputusan Presiden Nomor 144 Tahun 1999.

Ketentuan Substansial

Keputusan ini menetapkan pembubaran Dewan Ekonomi Nasional dan mencabut Keputusan Presiden Nomor 144 Tahun 1999. Dengan pembubaran ini, semua anggota Dewan Ekonomi Nasional, termasuk Ketua, Wakil Ketua, dan Sekretaris, diberhentikan dengan hormat dari jabatannya. Keputusan ini juga menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih atas pengabdian dan jasa-jasa mereka selama menjabat.

CONCERNING
DISSOLUTION OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMIC COUNCIL

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering:	that in order to further improve the performance of the 1999-2004 Period Cabinet in the effort to recover the national economy, it is deemed necessary to dissolve the National Economic Council as referred to in Presidential Decree Number 144 of 1999 concerning the National Economic Council;
In view of:	Article 4 paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution;

DECIDES:

To stipulate:

Article 1
