Considering:

that in order to realize effective cooperation in combating crime, legal measures are needed to surrender a person suspected of having committed a crime that occurred outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, into the jurisdiction of the requesting country in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 1 of 1979 concerning Extradition;
that the Government of Australia, in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 8 of 1994 concerning Ratification of the Extradition Treaty between the Republic of Indonesia and Australia, has submitted an extradition request to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on behalf of Timothy Geoffrey Lee, a British and Australian citizen;
