Latar Belakang dan Tujuan: Keputusan Presiden ini diterbitkan untuk mengesahkan Amandemen Pasal 24 dan 25 dari Konstitusi Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) yang telah diterima dalam Sidang ke-11 World Health Assembly di Jenewa pada tahun 1986. Pengesahan ini dilakukan sebagai tindak lanjut dari penerimaan amandemen tersebut oleh Delegasi Pemerintah Republik Indonesia dan sesuai dengan Amanat Presiden kepada Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat.

Ketentuan Substansial: Keputusan ini mengesahkan amandemen yang telah diterima dalam sidang internasional tersebut, dan memerintahkan pengundangannya dalam Lembaran Negara Republik Indonesia agar diketahui oleh publik. Tidak ada pembentukan otoritas baru atau perubahan kewenangan yang disebutkan dalam keputusan ini.

CONCERNING
RATIFICATION OF AMENDMENTS TO ARTICLES 24 AND 25 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF
THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering:

that the Delegation of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia has participated in accepting the Amendments of Articles 24 and 25 of the Constitution of the World Health Organization as a result of the 11th Session of the 1986 World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 12, 1986;
that in connection with this and in accordance with the Mandate of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the Chairman of the House of Representatives Number 2826/HK/1960 dated August 22, 1960, it is deemed necessary to ratify the Amendment referred to in letter a, above with a Presidential Decree;

In view of:

Article 4 paragraph (1) and Article 11 of the 1945 Constitution;
