RATIFICATION OF THE CONVENTION ON WETLANDS OF INTERNATIONAL IMPORTANCE
ESPECIALLY AS WATERFOWL HABITAT

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering :

that in Ramsar, Iran, on February 2, 1971, the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance especially as Waterfowl Habitat was adopted as a result of the Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) regarding wetlands viewed from an international perspective, especially as waterfowl habitat;
that the convention in letter a aims to conserve wetlands along with their flora and fauna, the implementation of which requires integration between international policies;
