PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering:

that in London, England, on September 3, 1976, the Convention on the International Maritime Satellite Organization (INMARSAT) was approved as a result of the International Conference on the Establishment of an International Maritime Satellite System, which was held in London, England, on September 1 - 3, 1976;
that the Government of the Republic of Indonesia deems it necessary to become a member of the International Maritime Satellite Organization (INMARSAT);
