Keputusan Presiden ini bertujuan untuk mengesahkan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) antara Pemerintah Republik Indonesia dan Pemerintah Republik Rakyat Bangladesh mengenai Kerjasama Pemuda dan Olahraga. MoU ini ditandatangani di Jakarta pada tanggal 14 Januari 1987 sebagai hasil perundingan antara delegasi kedua negara. Pengesahan ini dilakukan sesuai dengan amanat Presiden Republik Indonesia dan berdasarkan Pasal 4 ayat (1) dan Pasal 11 Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 serta Keputusan Presiden Nomor 5 Tahun 1980. Keputusan ini menetapkan bahwa MoU tersebut disahkan dan mulai berlaku sejak tanggal diundangkan, dengan tujuan untuk memperkuat kerjasama bilateral di bidang pemuda dan olahraga antara kedua negara.

RATIFICATION OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF
THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC
OF BANGLADESH CONCERNING YOUTH AND SPORTS COOPERATION

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering :

that in Jakarta, on January 14, 1987, the Delegation of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Concerning Youth and Sports Cooperation, as a result of negotiations between the Delegations of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the People's Republic of Bangladesh;
