CATATAN:	\n \n Keputusan Presiden (KEPPRES) ini mulai berlaku pada tanggal 22 Maret 2011. \n \n

","regulatory_relationship","(-)","scope_and_parties","policy_content","Keputusan Presiden ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan kerja sama yang efektif dalam memberantas kejahatan melalui langkah-langkah hukum ekstradisi. Pemerintah Rumania mengajukan permohonan ekstradisi atas nama Popa Nicolae, Warga Negara Rumania, berdasarkan hubungan baik dan prinsip resiprositas, meskipun belum ada perjanjian ekstradisi antara kedua negara. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1979 tentang Ekstradisi, ekstradisi dapat dilakukan atas dasar hubungan baik dan prinsip resiprositas jika kepentingan Negara Republik Indonesia menghendakinya. PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering:

that in order to realize effective cooperation in combating crime, legal measures are needed to surrender a person suspected of having committed a crime that occurred outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia into the jurisdiction of the requesting country in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 1 of 1979 concerning Extradition;
that the Government of Romania in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 1 of 1979 concerning Extradition submits an extradition request to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on behalf of Popa Nicolae, a Romanian Citizen, based on good relations and the principle of reciprocity;
that the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of Romania do not yet have an extradition treaty, but based on Law Number 1 of 1979
